Jason Garay is an Intelligence Research Specialist with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) SAC Newark, assigned to the El Dorado Task Force within the Cyber Crimes Group. At HSI, Jason primarily focuses on advanced blockchain forensic analysis, investigating money laundering, and dismantling criminal networks.

Jason has approximately (8) years in the intelligence field and holds a Master of Science degree in Cyber Security and a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Jason is an experienced cyber threat intelligence researcher with a primary focus on dark web, tracking actors and targets, developing research, and gaining attribution. Jason also holds various blockchain forensic certifications from Chainalysis and TRM including but not limited to: Chainalysis Reactor Certification, and Chainalysis Ethereum Investigations, TRM Certified Investigator, TRM Advanced Certified Investigator, and TRM Certified Compliance Specialist.
